I will be in Vienna from September 4 - 7, 2015. Which classical music concerts would you recommend? I would also love to see a dance performance of the Strauss waltzes. Thank you.

Since you are looking for a level of authenticity as well as the waltz music of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century composers , and you will be in Vienna over a weekend , locate yourself at the Café Braunerhof just near the Hofburg on Saturday or Sunday afternoon , when a piano trio ( violin , cello , and piano ) plays . This is fairly authentic and very enjoyable . The faded beauty of the place will provide a lasting memory of your visit !
