Hi all,
I will be going to Salzburg with my partner in July and we were excited to go to a concert of some sort. We booked tickets to a performance during the Salzburg Festival, mistakenly assuming that it was an orchestral performance, but it turns out that we actually got tickets for a solo piano concert.
Has anyone been to one of these? Would it be worthwhile going, as we have a short time in Salzburg?

Well, there are solo piano concerts that are more interesting than full orchestra concert. If you reserved a concert with Schiff - well, even if I do not love him, he is still one of the top piano players in the world. Probably better that some second-tier orchestras.
