If I buy a combo ticket for the treasury and the Kunsthistorisches museum in Vienna, do I have to go them the same day?

They can be used on different days.
I hope you enjoy the Treasury Museum. We really enjoyed it - Our photos from the Schatzkammer are the screensavers on my computer, 10 years after the visit.

Your entry ticket entitles you to a one time entry to the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna and the Imperial Treasury Vienna.
Each location can be visited once, either on the same day or on different days. Consider the different opening hours.

You do NOT need to visit both venues on the same day, therefore the answer to the question is NO.
