It is a little hard to read your message with no punctuation but I will try.

You need tickets for each segment.

Vienna to Salzburg
Salzburg to Innsbruck
Innsbruck to Graz
Graz to Vienna

You just have to go up to the window at the station in Vienna and ask for all of these. Tell them that it is for 2 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 10, and they will sell you exactly what you need.

I'd leave about 30 minutes prior to your Salzburg train to get this taken care of incase there are any lines.

Happy travels

Or if you want to see schedules and fares, get on oebb.at which is the Austrian railway website. You can book online for specific (non-refundable) trains and even get seat reservations.) Just make sure your credit card company has been alerted for its use in Austria.

Having given your full name and your exact days of travel could expose you to the less pleasant parts of society. About the only thing you haven't given is your hometown but your name could find you.

It might be a good idea to change the name of your thread (when you are logged in access your profile by clicking on the "Logged in as ...." area and click on the thread then Edit and you can change the title line and anything else about the thread) to make you a bit less conspicuous.

I agree with Nigel regarding editing the title of your thread. With a title, it's a good idea to provide a short description of the topic and you'll likely get more replies that way.

For the segment from Vienna to Salzburg, you can travel via Austrian Rail (ÖBB) or the competing Westbahn trains, which are a bit less expensive. Westbahn does not have any ticket facilities so you can purchase tickets either online or on the train. However, for purchases on the train with a credit card, you'll need to have a Chip & PIN card (antiquated magnetic stripe cards are not accepted).

Guess Caroline Slattery, who we know has two kids and is on vacation right now, didn't take anyone's advice about changing the thread. This really does open you and your family up to all kinds of no good. Google can find you in seconds. As a parent, I would never post this type of info publicly.
