Does anyone know of a boat cruise from Melk, Krems or that area to Vienna? Just want it one way.

The reason that you can find a cruise from Krems to Vienna is that is it not scenic at all. Try DDSG or Brandner for cruises from Melk to Krems, which is very scenic.
Take the train from Krems to Vienna - www.oebb.at.

Thank you so much...I could not figure that out. Any suggestions on what boat/ferry to take? Also, any suggestions where 3 adults should stay in Wachau Valley?

I stayed at the Hotel Zur Post in Melk and thought it was excellent,great staff and restaurant,right off of the square.

I would stay in one of the villages - Spitz, Weissenkirchen or Duernstein. These villages are lovely and possess the spirit of the Wachau in a way that the larger towns of Melk and Krems do not.
