Bloberger Hof or Radisson Blu

Hello!
We are a family of 4 (two early teen daughters) who are coming to Salzburg for either 2 or 3 nights the first week of July. We plan to do SOM tour, possibly half of our party will do Salt mines (some are claustrophobic), and the other half perhaps a cooking class. We can either make reservations at Radisson Blu hotel in Altstadt or at Bloberger Hof outside the city. We will have just visited family in Nurnberg, Biberach, and Regnitzlosau. These 3 days will be our only 3 days as a family of just 4, instead of doing family visits. These are the only 2 options we are considering for lodging given what is available for the dates we are coming. Radisson is almost double the cost. We will not have a car so will rely on public transit. Thoughts on these two locations for our needs? I think it would be fun to be able to walk outside the door to the hustle and bustle, but I also would love the quiet of the more remote location. Kids have no preference either does husband. Help!
