What are options / places for bike rental in Melk? We will arrive by train and may not have a working cell phone. Are there traditional bike rental places in town? Thanks!

Even in Melk you will find a place with free WiFi, e.g. a restaurant, to connect your cell phone to the Internet.
There are a number of places where you can rent bikes. Search for "melk fahrradverleih" with Google.
Most known is Nextbike which has several outlets for picking up or dropping the bikes. You need not to return the bike to the place where you had started. You need to zoom into the map to see all bike stations.
