Best way to travel from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov, CZ.

Can't help much but train looks like 5.5 hour and Bus 8+ hours. Train is one to two times more expensive.

As the public transportation connections between Vienna and CK are very poor, it is usually recommended to take a shuttle on this route. The two main companies are CK Shuttle and Bean Shuttle:

I will be doing the same thing but traveling from Prague to Krumlov, spending one night, then traveling to Vienna. I called my Krumlov hotel and they arranged for a driver to pick us up in Prague and drive us to Krumlov. The next day a driver will take us from Krumlov to Vienna. Total cost for 2 people is 260 Euros. I'm splurging a bit on this :)

I have used CK shuttle services twice for transfers from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov. One trip was by car as there were only 4 passengers, the other was in a mini van with a few more passengers. The drivers were friendly, you received a free bottle of water, and a stop was made both times for a toilet/ coffee break along the way. I thought the service was very good and I enjoyed being dropped right at our apartment

We used CK Shuttle once, from CK to Linz. Excellent. Driver came to the hotel door, insisted on carrying our luggage...refused to hear otherwise. On time, professional, courteous, immaculate late model minivan with just a couple of other passengers. Dropped at the front door of the train station. Our hotel made the call for us to arrange it, but it think the TI in CK could have done the same. Have a great trip and safe travels.

We hired a car and tour guide, drove to CK and then on to Vienna. Worked great. Spent about 5 hours in CK, toured everything and had lunch in a little local restaurant. Great fun.

How long is the ride from Prague to CK? Or vice versa? How long from CK to Vienna? I don't see that info on the bean shuttle website.

It is a 3 hour ride from Prague to CK and 3.5 hours from CK to Vienna. Hope this helps.

Does anyone experience with the Flixbus or Student Agency bus from Vienna to CK?

We used the Student bus from Prague to Berlin. Great price and comfortable.

We used CK shuttle from Salzburg to CK then 2 days later from CK to Prague. Great service door to door. My only advice would be that if it is a full van (8 passengers) do not get stuck sitting in front seat! There was very little room, no leg room at all.
