Best itinerary with Bad Ischl as base for 3 days

Hi there.

We will be hiring E bikes in Bad Ischl and want to know an itinerary so that we can make the most of the area. 3 full days then on to Salzburg so don't need to include Salzburg. Have been suggested the following places but don't know how to fit them in effectively as unsure of time required on the bike plus viewing times etc. Hoping someone can help. Please put best first incase weather is bad and we cannot get to them all. If there are other things we can see that are better please let me know. We will be there in August. Basically we love being outdoors. Happy to go by bike provided they can be secured when we go into caves, viewing platforms etc.

Hallstatt to wander and Salt Mines if recommended. Apparently we can secure bikes somewhere.
Krippenstein Cable car
Dachstein Five Fingers platform ?
Ride to Strobl and take boat to Wolfangsee (are bikes allowed on boat)

Suggestion on itinerary welcomed.

I have been to Five Fingers and it has great views, you should tour the Ice Caves which are one stop before the Five Fingers stop, very nice.I dont know why the boat would not allow bikes,I have ridden it several times and didn't pay attention.Salt Mine tour is great. There is another Salt Mine where the Monuments Men found the stolen artifacts by the Nazis near lake Attersee.

Bikes were allowed on the ferry on Wolfgangsee we took from St. Gilgen to St. Wolfgang. I would definitely include a stop at St. Wolfgang in your itinerary.

Thanks for that. Weather and time permitting we will then go to Lake Wolfgangsee with bikes

Hi,

Bad Ischl itself is worth exploring aside from the Kaiservilla, was there again at the end of May.
