Best concert experiences in Vienna in early October

There are so many choices! I will be in Vienna from October 7 through October 11, so I have the evenings of October 7-10 available to see concerts. I already booked a ticket to see Giselle on October 9, but viennaconcerts.com has so many choices for the other dates, and I am unsure of the best quality or experience. This blog: https://www.theviennablog.com/best-concerts-in-vienna/
did not help because it seems the blogger loved all the concerts he reviewed. Has anyone been to a concert they really enjoyed?

To some degree it depends on how advanced your musical tastes are . .The major venues in Vienna are The Musikverein and The Konzerthaus , these are concert halls , The State Opera and The Volksoper ( State opera for opera and ballet , Volksoper also includes Musical Theater ) Go to the respective websites for these venues , look at the programming , and see if anything appeals to you . I assume Giselle is at The State Opera ?https://www.musikverein.at/ https://volksoper.at/ https://www.wiener-staatsoper.at/en/

Yes - Giselle is at the State Opera House. I will likely buy tickets to Vivaldi's Four Seasons at St. Charles Church because I really like Vivaldi. However, [edit: because I will be in Vienna,] I feel like it would be appropriate to go to a Strauss/Mozart concert.

There are performances at The Musikverein of The Vienna Mozart Orchestra . Although a costumed production , the quality of playing is very high and touches the sort of repertoire you are looking for Also , as I recall , if you would like some Waltz music , Cafe Braunerhof , right near The Hofburg has a piano trio ( piano , violin , cello ) on weekends , quite charming

Just as an aside , this waltz has long been a favorite of mine , although not by one of The Strauss family . The composer is Carl Michael Ziehrer - https://youtu.be/3tmSrcJ-91g Not very well known

These are very helpful suggestions - thank you, Steven. Musikverein is playing on October 7 and 9 at Brahms Hall. I can't attend on October 9 but I could on the 7th. It's playing in the smaller Brahms Hall. I have just spent about 15 minutes trying to find the location of Brahms Hall. Any ideas where it is?
Edit: OHHH Wikipedia says it's just one of the halls inside Musikverein. OK.

Hi Adrienne , yes The Brahms Hall is in the Musikverein building next to The Grosser Salle ( Large Concert Hall ) . Its primarily used for intimate performances like chamber music or vocal or piano recitals . Also , if you're over that way at some point during the day , in the same building around back on Canovagasse is the Bosendorfer Piano Showroom . Some of the worlds finest instruments , They have a sound unique to the brand . The piano masterpiece that they craft is The 290 extended range Imperial Grand .It extends the lower range of the instrument by almost a full octave and is a magnificent instrument . This is what it sounds like - https://youtu.be/LDALaf-_65k

That was beautiful - I loved the way it sounded when she did those runs.

I was very fortunate to obtain tickets for very good seats to hear the Vienna Philharmonic play Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" at Musikverein on my last night in Vienna several weeks ago. It was one of my most memorable "last nights" of any of my trips.

@SilasMarner , This performance of the Dvorak is one of the most sensitive I've ever encountered. Played by The Frankfurt Radio Symphony , we were able to hear them at two programs at the Musikverein last Autumn ( Rachmaninoff , Prokofiev , a few more Russian composers ) I hope you like this - https://youtu.be/PtY0ujNuAcc
