We've been to a few Christmas markets and have seen very few of these little wooden crafts. We were trying to fulfill a wish back home for one, and wondering if they may be more common in some areas than others.
Of course, ideally they are found at Christmas markets that might be open past Christmas at this point :)

Is there a Käthe Wohlfahrt shop in town. I believe every city has at least one. They sell pyramids.

I saw something like this at Altes AKH.
The originals are made in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) in Germany. Nutcrackers and Smokers too. Seiffen, Annaberg-Buchholz, Crottendorf etc. Be wary of cheap imported reproductions.
