Beethoven Walk in Vienna ?

My wife, a devout fan of Beethoven (and all classical music) (me, I'm more into the now dead Grateful Dead), and I are planning a trip to Bavaria, Salzburg, the Italian Tirol AND Vienna this September & October. I am also an avid hiker - and - my wife would like to stroll on the trails that her idol frequented back in the late eighteenth century & early nineteenth centuries.

I've found some things on All Trails and a couple of other websites - but it would be nice if such a thing as an audioguide or even a tour guide who specializes in that sort of thing could be found ahead of time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You probably know about the composers' cemetery outside Vienna (https://www.wien.info/en/see-do/sights-from-a-to-z/central-cemetery-342500), where Beethoven (and many other composers) are buried. Though I doubt Beethoven visited there while he was alive.

Beethoven spent some time in Baden in the 1820s. It's under an hour from Vienna by train.

And here's a website with more info (which you probably found if you did a Google search): https://www.visitingvienna.com/footsteps/beethoven/

Probably for your next trip...how about going to Bonn to see Beethoven's house/museum? The memorial statue of him is there too.

My first trip to Germany I went to Bonn just to see the Beethoven Haus.

Compliments to Lane for those links . The Beethoven Museum at Probusgasse 6 was excellent . . If you look at this map , you will see " Schreiberbach " in the center . This is German for " Writer's Brook " While I am not certain ,this may be the place that inspired his writing the second movement of the sixth symphony " Scene by the Brook " A nice area for a stroll , quite near the museum https://www.google.com/maps/place/Beethovengang/@48.2591966,16.3576778,18.75z/data=!4m15!1m8!3m7!1s0x476d079e5136ca9f:0xfdc2e58a51a25b46!2sVienna,+Austria!3b1!8m2!3d48.2080696!4d16.3713095!16zL20vMGZocDk!3m5!1s0x476d061a4e5006ab:0xfb7f038282910a7f!8m2!3d48.2595079!4d16.3627553!16s%2Fg%2F1tr8kcck?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDIwMS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D
