Austria in February. Chances of Snow!?

Hello!!
I’m planning a 10 day solo trip to Austria, Slovenia and Hungary in February 2020. My bucket list item is to experience snowfall, hence I’m tending towards spending more time in Salzburg and visiting Berchtesgaden and Hallstatt as day trips. I’ve already been to these places 5 years ago but in summer & hence, hope to catch fresh snow this time. From Salzburg I plan to visit Ljubljana and lake bled which I hear is awesome during winter. Then I plan to stay 3 nights in Vienna and then to Budapest. I have already visited Vienna in summer and don’t see a point to revisit in case there’s no snow! Do you have any suggestions based on your experience on where to go for a guaranteed snow experience? PS- I’m not a skier so not so keen on just doing the alps.

Well, Salzburg lies at an altitude of less than 500 metres, Berchtesgaden between 700 and 100 metres. But the safest thing would be to go somewhere in the Tauern mountains south of Salzburg.
