Austria/Czech Republic 14 day itinerary suggestions in May

Hello to all! My wife and I made the decision to travel 14 days through the Czech Republic and Austria. We are hoping we could get some suggestions on places to visit and advice on the most efficient way to get around. We are planning to arrive in Prague first through Madrid. I was thinking 3 days minimum in Prague. I also wanted to visit Cesky Krumlov. As for Austria, I feel maybe our time should be more focused exploring this country? I have not delved deep into researching yet, but Vienna, Salzburg, Halstott and Innsbruck were places we were thinking to add to our itinerary. We then thought maybe flying back home out of Munich from Innsbruck as i see it’s about a 2 hr drive. We also figured renting a car while in Austria to move around and maybe taking a train from Prague to Vienna as i would imagine there won’t be much use of a car while in those two cities. Any help formulating a trip and any suggestions of places we should fit in those 2 weeks would be very welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

If you plan to depart from Munich via Innsbruck I highly recommend taking the "slow" train. This takes you up via Seefeld, Mittenwald and G-P. Much more scenic in my opinion along with not adding too much time to the trip. If you plan accordingly, in G-P you can easily get to Zugspitze as the transit to there is a short walk from the train station. They also have luggage lockers there. I highly recommend Zugspitze.
