Ascension (Christi Himmelfahrt) in Austria

Does anyone know the implications of Ascension (29 May this year) in Austria, vis-à-vis transport schedules, closures etc? Because it's a religious holiday day, does that mean things like buses and city transit will be running Sunday/holiday timetables? Will places like restaurants and shops all likely be shut?

If it makes a difference, the area I'm specifically thinking about here is Linz.

I've been to a few different places in Germany and Austria on Sundays and other festival days and had very varying experiences so if anyone knows how this particular day tends to impact things that would be brilliant. Thank you :)

It is a public holiday, all shops are closed; public transport, museums, restaurants follow their holiday schedule (mostly identical to the Sunday schedule), which you will need to check.

Yes, things will be back to normal the following day.

Things will be mostly normal the next day, but not completely. Taking the following Friday off makes a long 4-day weekend. A lot of people will make use of this opportunity. E.g., a restaurant which is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays anyway is not likely to open for that single day.
