If you are in the States , do not despair ! PBS always shows this program , but it will likely be aired at some point in July . Watch your local PBS station for date and time .

Thanks Emily - BBC Four is where I went. I just hope that it appears sometime in the summer.... I can picture it - much like New Years Day it is to one degree predictable - again, much like The Last Night at the Proms.

That's why I like it so much.

Emily, thanks for the information. I’ll be in Vienna next June, dates are still flexible. The concert sounds wonderful. Is it the same date or day of the month each year?

The date is different every year, but usually in late May or early June.

You are welcome. If you want to watch the concert in HD quality you may try it from ZDF. It is geo-locked for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. I use Windscribe as VPN and had never problems accessing ZDF using a German IP address.
