Are Unvalidated Public Transit Passes Still Good Years Later?

Hello,

My wife and I had planned to visit Vienna in February of 2020, but then COVID hit and our plans were cancelled. Unfortunately, we had already purchased Vienna Passes and 3-day transit passes. The Vienna Pass cards had a 2021 expiration date, but the transit passes do not. Since they have not been validated, and the face value of the purchase price is the same as today's, does anyone know if we can use these passes?

If that is the case, your transit passes are still valid and you may use it. For some passes there was a price change effective July 1st, and some passes have been abandoned, the latter are valid until end of the year 2024.
