We are about to buy tickets for an outdoor opera on the lake in Bregenz. I can't pass up the experience to see a musical performance where the stage is built out over the lake and the audience sits on the shore.
Because it is an outdoor, summer event the performance doesn't start until 9PM. I'm double checking to see if regional trains would work for us. Our exchange family says they would drive back that night, about an hour, but that doesn't sound fun to me. We're trying to decide wether to spend the night in Bregenz. We can also return to Bregenz later in August after the festival is over and maybe the city won't be so crowded. Any other tips about Bregenz and restaurants, etc. would be welcome too.
