Any suggestions on a route between Vienna and Hallstatt/Obertraun by car?

We didn't stop in Graz, but hear it is very nice.

I think the best part about driving is going through the little towns and just stopping when something catches your eye:)

Steyr, Enns, Gmunden.

Enns and Steyr were really nice finds, drove through Gmunden but didn't really see anything. Did I look in the wrong place?

Gmunden is on Traunsee and has a lovely lake promenade with gorgeous mountain views. To walk on the promenade to Schloss Ort is a lovely thing to do. Glad you liked Steyr and Enns.
