Alpine views in/around Sölden

Hello all! I will be staying in Sölden for 2 nights in two weeks. Any suggestions where should I be going for picturesque landscapes shots? I'm an enthusiast photographer but not a pro hiker. I checked here for the trails but not sure which one best matches what I'm looking for.

Many thanks!

I've only been there for the ski season. It looks like the lifts will be closed soon and will not reopen until June. You can take the bus up to the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach Glaciers. 2 buses up in the morning and 2 back down in the afternoon.

There are lifts running now as it is still ski season there, but I don't know how much longer they will remain open.

Thank you for your reply!

I may take the bus/lifts and go up there. I'm reading that Obergurgl is a good spot for nice views. Any recommendations?

Yes, depending on the lift status 2 weeks from now. There is a bus that runs over the Timmelsjoch into Italy, but the road will not be open until May or June.
Obergurgl was the landing spot of the first manned stratospheric balloon flight by Auguste Piccard in 1931. There is a monument in the village, probably the most excitement they ever had.
