My family is traveling from Vienna to Salzburg via train, and we are hoping to stop over in Admont for a couple hours to visit the abbey there. However, we won’t have a car or hotel in which to leave our luggage, so I would hate for our suitcases to be the one thing preventing us from being to access the abbey. Does anyone know if the train station or anywhere else in town offers lockers where we could store our luggage?

Also, this is quite a detour by public transport. All of the routings I see from Vienna involve two trains and a bus for four hours to get to Admont. To get from Admont to Salzburg again invokes a bus and typically two trains, also a 4 hour journey.

Do you really mean Admont? Or could it be Melk, which is on the way between Vienna and Salzburg? Both monasteries are particularly famous for their libraries.
