8days trip Austria Salzburg Salzkammergut Innsbruck

Hi All,
We are a group of 3 (2 adults +1 senior citizen) arriving by flight in Salzburg from London at 11.00 am on the 1st Sep Friday and departing on 9th Sep Saturday from Salzburg to London.
We will be relying on public transport. We are not much interested in Museums and history but would like to see scenic places lakes and mountains, but won't be hiking as have a senior citizen amongst us.

Not sure if we can cover all these places Salzburg, Salzkammergut and Innsbruck in the limited time or should skip one of them.

Here is the tentative itinerary, any suggestions appreciated..

Day 1 arrive in salzburg ,make Salzburg as base (book hotel near old town or city hbf? ) and see local attractions like Mirabel Palace, etc..
Day 2 Saturday visit Hallstat full day.. By train.. From Salzburg Hbf or is the bus drive better.
Day 3 Sunday :Bus to Konigssee lake and Berchtasgaden. Take cable up the mountain
Day 4 Monday: Train to innsbruck via. Zellam am see as I have heard that even though route is longer but is more scenic. And also we can use the einfach raus ticket. See old town
Day 5 Tuesday : In Innsbruck visit Nordkett mountains
Day 6 Wednesday : Return from Innsbruck (via Zellam am See) and make St. Gilgen as base), spend evening in St. Gilgen.
Day 7 Thursday :Take boat to St. Wolfgang by boat, spend day in Wolfgang (can you suggest what can be covered in St. Wolfgang?) and return back to St. Gilgen.
Day 8: Spend time in St. Gilgen take the cable car to mountain and then return to Salzburg for evening, check in to hotel, so that we can leave early next day to catch our flight back to London (at 10.00 am)
Day 9 : Get up in morning and leave for airport from Salzburg.

Can you suggest if I need to make changes to the itinerary in terms of number of days in each location or skip any locations to spend more time in others.
Also if you could suggest the transportation options possible to keep the costs to minimum.

Thanks
Rahul
