2 days Innnsbruck area - Mittenwald? Seefeld? Hall?

Hello all and thank you in advance for any help.

We (mother and grown daughter) will arrive and depart by afternoon train to Innsbruck in late August. Using public transport- no car. Our interests are to hike (1-3 hours, light to moderate difficulty), try 1st time parasail, wander old towns vs busy cities. We are not big on shopping, churches or museums, we do love animals, farms and a cooking class might be a possible interest. Although Zugspitze was on the checklist, seems like it would take a half day out of a tight schedule.

Mittenwald and Hall sound lovely, Seefeld seemed centrally located for transportation and I liked the idea of funicular/cable car and hikes to bottom, but more ski resort in style as far as staying overnight, the parasailing seemed to be south by Stubai - so would Innsbruck be better to stay in?

Does anyone have a suggested itinerary that would include our interests without spending too much time on a bus or train?

Hiker's paradise is the town Seefeld in Tirol high above Innsbruck, i.e. in a plain having an elevation of 4000 ft, providing 100+ hiking routes of different length and severity.

You shouldn't have difficulties selecting hiking trails matching your requirements and your physical condition.

Seefeld can easily be reached by a scenic train ride of 36 minutes from Innsbruck in case you prefer to stay in the city.

You have such a short stay. Stubaital... From Innsbruck I would look at Fulpmes taking the Stubaitalbahn or go to Meiders with the bus. I can't speak towards the tandem paragliding or much for hiking. Just nice areas within an hour of Innsbruck. Of the three towns mentioned I think Mittenwald though touristic, might fit the bill for the fairytale look of Bavaria and Tirol. Ive stayed in Seefeld twice in Winter and only driven thru Hall (many times. I need to see more). Mittenwald can really get packed in summer due to the lakes.

Thank you - we decided to stay in Seefeld and use the Plateau Card to take the public transportation ( to Mittenwald and other areas).
