We are flying from Rome to US with a stopover in Vienna for the evening. We arrive around 5pm, and fly out at 10 AM the next morning. Travel date is early October. We have a couple of questions/data requests.
are there lockers in the airport that we can leave luggage in if we are not able to check the bags thru (still some debate on that with the Airline, but looks like we cannot check them thru).
room near airport or room in city? lodging recommendations - we are not looking at anything exotic, as we hope to enjoy the city til late in the evening (up to 10 PM or so)
dining recommendations in the city - again, nothing exotic, but would like to have a nice meal with atmosphere and/or city view.
travel to and from the city to the airport - best way for 2 people
things to do/places to see in the short time we are there in the evening - we will need to get back to the airport by 8AM, and won't get to the city til after 6PM
