I had such a great time last month at the Munich opera festival, that I'm planning to return next summer! Thanks for all of the travel tips.
I've never been to Vienna, so would like to spend a few days there in between some of the festival performances. I also didn't get a chance to do the Berchtesgaden sights (Doc Center et al) on this trip.
Is there an ideal itinerary to make that work? Can I easily go from Vienna to Berchtesgaden to Munich?
