Hi,
I am planning to visit Austria with my family 2 Adult and a child during the later part of May month.
I have heard of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna as must to cover and am open for any changes. I tried to go through lot of posts in the forum, but got confused.
Can you help me with a perfect detailed itinerary for this with point of arrival and departure. Our interest is natures beauty and moderate tour of Palaces.
Also, is it possible to add a day trip to Budapest.
Is there option for good budget apartment/ cottage stays or Hotels will be best option.

With 12 nights, I would allocate 3 or 4 to Vienna, and the same to Salzburg. We only spent 2 nights in Salzburg and wished we had stayed longer.
I think Budapest is a long shot for a day trip, but maybe you could allocate 3 nights to it for a decent visit.
3 nights Budapest
4 nights Vienna
3 nights Salzburg
2 nights Hallstatt perhaps?
