I loved my stay at Hotel AmStephansplatz, directly across from the church and in the midst of the old town, steps to the U. Very quiet and lovely hotel, enormous room and excellent breakfast. I have also stayed at Le Meridien near the Opera but it's gotten a lot more expensive than 5 years ago.

Based on frequent positive reviews per Jules and others we are looking forward to checking into Hotel Austria very soon.
