Plachutta Wollzeile's manager, Adriano, was blatantly racist. We went there for dinner and Adriano unabashedly flouted his racist views by directing his staff to racially segregate the restaurant. Such behavior is not only horrifying in 2024, it is also ILLEGAL under Austria's laws. In reading Google reviews for the restaurant, it looks there are numerous other people who noted the restaurant's racist behavior towards its paying customers. And yet, Plachutta's other locations (Stammhaus Hietzing and Nussdorf) who are managed by different managers, have no mention of racist behavior. It appears that Adriano is the root of the problem, however, from other online reviews of the restaurant, it looks like he had hired some racist staff, so the problem is now systemic at the Wolzeille location. Has anyone experienced racism at Plachutta's other two locations, Stammhaus Hietzing or Nussdorf?
