Pension Juliana in Lech am Arlberg

Lech is known as being a pricey ski resort town, but in the summer it is a wonderful place for hikers. If you go I really recommend Pension Juliana. Claudia and her family operate the pension as part of their farm and it is truly wonderful. All the rooms are very modern and clean, the included breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day. Claudia speaks great English and is wunderbar to deal with. In addition, when you stay in Lech you get the free Lech card which gives you free access to all of the lifts, gondolas, and hiking buses. Claudia was also very welcoming of our Jack Russell, Thor...a definite plus!! She also has apartments for larger families/groups. Can't wait to go back for another visit!!

Stubenbach, which is a little outside Lech proper. The free hiking bus drops you right in front of it. We loved walking into Lech for the most part, you can walk by the roadside or there is a great back trail that you can hike...thst was our favorite.
