I have spend too much time reviewing hotels for a 3 day stay I’m Vienna.
We are seniors prefer small boutique hotels 4 or 5 star. Working with a Canada dollar so not great with the exchange. However I want a hotel that is close to the central area , with reasonable size rooms , welcoming staff possible comp breakfast , maybe a fitness area
Currently I booked Hotel Motto , it looks very stylish, however hesitant due to comments regarding noise levels, price is reasonable
The other hotel is sans soucci , of course it is pricey, is it worth ?. Also not interested in a stuffy hotel.
Appreciate guidance.
Secondly a visit to the Lippizans grounds , my husband is more interested in the stables, to see the horses up close. We have seen the performance of the Andalusia show in Spain. So don’t feel the need to see another performance, just the grounds & stables … my husband used to be raise Arabian … so want to keep every one happy 🤪
I stayed at the Hotel NH Wien Belvedere. Very nice, reasonably priced and only a 10 minute walk to the Opera House location.
I've got it!! An easy walk to the old town. Hotel Das Tyrol It is a small boutique hotel. Check it out and read reviews on TripAdvisor, but book direct with the hotel.
We really have liked Hotel Austria. Small hotel, larger rooms, probably the best hotel included breakfast I've ever had. Check recent ratings, tho, its been a while.
Boutique Hotel am Stephansplatz Is my husband and I’s pick when in Vienna. You can’t beat the location and the breakfast is stunning. On our last trip we bumped into a Rick Steves tour staying there. My friend and tour guide that lives in Vienna also likes Pension Suzanne but we have not stayed there.
