December 2013 was our fifth stay since 2001 at the Gasthof Badl. If you're looking for a place in the Innsbruck area, this is the place to stay. Sonja, the owner/hostess, Max, Margit, Agi and everyone else look after your every need. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They are absolutely tops! Our previous stay was in 11/10 and since then the rooms have had a makeover. Very nicely done. It's more like a superior hotel without the "superior" price, plus you feel as if your staying with friends. Hard to beat. Also, the restaurant serves incredible meals at reasonable prices and the breakfast buffet, incl. with the room, has such a wide variety of items. Add to that the excellent location, a short walk to Hall's old town, 15 min. from Innsbruck and 30 min. to the Italian border, free parking, easy off/on the A12 (no highway noise) and a short walk from the train station (no train noise). What you may hear is the Inn river just outside. Ask for a room with a balcony. There's nothing like waking up to the beautiful view of the alps!
