Hello! Three of us will be in Vienna in September. We are looking for suggestions for areas to stay - we will most likely get an Airbnb for this part of our trip. We plan to take public transportation, but prefer to stay closer to the main attractions. Thanks in advance for your tips and recommendations!
Near the Vienna State Opera House.
Good luck with that AirBnb.

That was about 20% of the tourist beds I think. Let's see what happens to hotel prices.
Thanks, Nick. Mr E., I know.

If you aren't opposed to a HOTEL - we LOVE Hotel Das Tyrol - it's close to everything. It's super small, a boutique hotel with only 30 rooms and an amazing breakfast.
There are also some great hotels near St. Stephan's Cathedral.
Hotel Austria is lovely and close to St. Stephens. They have a wonderful breakfast. It is a small hotel.
Thank you. We are not opposed to a hotel!
Our May RS tour group stayed at the Hotel Das Tigra which I believe was a new one on the RS list. My wife and I enjoyed it and the location was walking-convenient to many of the major sites. Great breakfast room and staff provided great restaurant suggestions. Hotel info. below. Have a great trip!
