I contacted Lale at the email address listed on Rick Steves website ([email protected]) four times over the last two months with no response. Does anyone know if Lale is still in business? The FB page has had no updates since 2016. Is there another way to contact Lale? If not, what foodie tour would you recommend? We are seeking to join the tour on April 28. Our Best of Turkey tour begins on April 29.

We did a food tour with Culinary Backstreets in Istanbul and really enjoyed it. Eat a light breakfast!

gammilld I did the foodie tour last fall before my Best of Turkey tour. Lale was the guide, but I believe other guides also do the tour. It was wonderful - a mini tour of the Asia side of Istanbul, plenty of interesting and good food (so much food). Worth every penny and was a day well spent. Hopefully the communications have been improved and people are able to schedule a tour.
