If you go to the Tours section, and click on the tour you are interested in, you will see a section for the itinerary. It will open to show a day by day description of the places being visited.

It isn't. We took this tour in May, 2017, and went to Versailles on our own the morning of the day the tour started. It's quite easy to get to from Paris. We were back in plenty of time to freshen up before meeting the tour group that afternoon. Versailles is very unique and we felt it was not to be missed, especially since we weren't sure we'd ever get back to Paris.

Versailles is on the itinerary for RS Paris in 7 Days. Both are great tours, enjoy!

anyone know what hotel (or at least general neighborhood) that RS tour uses. Would like a little more notice that last tour we took.

Paris is the first and last location of that tour, so you will know exactly which hotel as soon as you sign up.

last tour they notified us one month before...didn't work too well.

hotel used by RS was sold out as were other local hotels.

The first and last hotel are listed as soon as you sign up, only the rest of the hotels are on the month ahead documents.
Check the ITINERARY section of your tour account.

Liz is right, the first and last hotel have always been indicated on your tour confirmation letter. Your tour mates and list of the rest of the hotels come out approximately 30 days before. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the first and last hotels will have openings for extra days available for you. You’ve asked the same question in previous years……the answer hasn’t changed.
