I just had too translate all the text in a train ticket pdf to English.
The ticket it's self is a QR code, no problem, but the page looked like a MS Word chart with dozens of boxes, each with a snippet of info. The only way I could figure to translate it was to convert it to an editable pdf the copy the data in each box, one at a time, translate it and paste it into the box. Tool an hour. Any faster way?
Did you try Google Translate directly?
I haven’t tried it, but the online version of google translate has options to upload a pdf (or jpg, word doc, etc).

I've used Google Translate for PDF documents and it works very well (with some limitations depending on the quality of the PDF). You can also translate Word and Google docs, and other forms.
As Google translate can process jpegs, I often use fast and dirty screenshots
Yeah I would just use the Google translate photo feature to take a photo or screenshot of the open document
