Travel Planner for Slovenia/Croatia

Hi Everyone

My 15 year old son and I are heading out on a special father/son trip.
He's never been to Europe before, so most everything in Slovenia/Croatia will probably be beyond expectations for us both!

This is very last minute and I just finalized flights but have nothing set on the ground yet.
We aren't interested in group tours but really need some help creating a "backbone" to follow w reservations.
A basic itinerary: Hotels/Apartments reservations, car, a few local tour bookings/suggestions, help with ferry schedules/timing from Spilt, Dubrovnik tours and ways to avoid some of the cruise ship busyness, etc.

I have Rick's book which is amazing and will be super helpful as we do our research.
However, I just don't have the time to curate this whole thing and there is so much to see and do!

Starting May 29th in LJU, we have about 13 days to get down to Dubrovnik.

Can anyone suggest a planner or travel agency that can help us get a great plan in place, talk to us about what we want to accomplish and help make reservations?
I've spoken with 3 - 1 was 4 star luxury and told me to expect to spend $15k (not happening) - the other 2 didn't seem very interested in helping us because it was last minute?

Appreciate any suggestions/referrals to folks that can help us.
Thanks!

You could call the Rick Steves office, they do some travel consulting, and I would think they would be more in line with your thinking in terms of budget. Another idea is look at the Adventures with Sarah website. She does travel planning and she works closely with someone in SLovenia that I would imagine would do travel consulting.
