We were in Coimbra briefly last month and came upon this little restaurant near the Igreja de Santa Cruz. We both thought it was great - an interesting menu (including some very nice vegetarian dishes), great service, and outdoor seating just a little bit off the square there. If you're there you may want to check it out. Their website (just google them) has the current menu.
