One cord to charge them all...

I know I am not the only person whose phone, iPad and earbuds all use different chargers - USB-C, lightning, mini-USB - argh! So I just bought this brilliant Cerberus of charging cords. It's not fast, especially if you're charging multiple devices, but for overnight charging of all the things it works just fine.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Rebecca!

Luckily, the only device I have that still uses a micro USB connection is for home use only. Amazon finally made the transition to USB-C with the latest Kindle so all I need is USB-C and and lightning. And once the new iPhone 15 is released, people won't have to worry about lightning connections any more.

But if you still have all three connections, it's a handy charging cord!

@Mardee, I have a new phone on order, so that will be USB-C for it and my iPad. But my earbuds and my Airfly (and my bluetooth headband, so I can listen to white noise/ocean sounds at night as needed) are all mini-USB still...

Love it! Rebecca, you're not ordinary at all! That, I think, will be my gift to myself this upcoming Prime day!

As I understand it, everything is going to be standardized to the USB-C connecter (it has the advantage of being bi-directional without being Apple proprietary). Soon, if not already, all chargeable devices will have USB-C sockets, and the only cords that will come on power supplies will have USB-C male ends. So, eventually, the lightning and micro ends to that cord set will be useless.

Instead, buy USB-C to male lightning or micro adapters to use on the male C end for each of your devices now.

If you want to charge multiple devices simultaneously, get chargers with multiple ports.

@Lee, well yes, but I hold on to my devices for years if they are working well and updatable. So, it could be a few years before all my gadgets are USB-C. Until then, this eliminates the need for multiple cords and adapters, at a reasonable price. Instead of 3 cords, I can pack one.

Yes, thanks to the EU that is going to be the standard.

I always travel with a multi charger cord, but as a backup. Not sure about their durability
