Hello, I have read that The Netherlands has a lot of restaurants featuring the cuisine of Suriname. I am always interested in trying new cuisines and I love Jamaican food, which I would assume shares some characteristics with Surinamese cuisine. Does anyone have any recommendations for good places to check out? I shall be in Amsterdam, The Hague, Haarlem, and Delft, so any of those places will do. Thanks!

No personal experience but here are a few results from the internet:
In Amsterdam: De Hapjeshoek, to find in the metrostation of Waterlooplein next to the National Opera & Ballet. The restaurant is very small and doesn’t look fancy but the food is excellent. Recommended by newspaper Het Parool ( read it every day, very reputable ).
Further in The Hague / Den Haag is Koko Authentic Surinamese Foods a restaurant with good reviews. Address:Korte Poten 17 (a few minutes walking from Mauritshuis)
