Newgrange Tour and Exhibition

I’m trying to book tickets on line for June and I see that the site only books current month. Here it is May 1st. and most of the month is already sold out. Any ideas?
Thanking you in advance.

I emailed [email protected] and got a quick reply for Mary Gibbons tecommended tour.

I first emailed Nov 5 for my mid-June request and the weekend was already sold out.

I am not sure where you are trying to reserve.

I think I’m confused too. We are going to be near Newgrange from September 22-October 17 so I was going to try to book something starting 30 days before, or August 22. There’s something I’m not understanding about this system too… Following this discussion for clarity.

The website says they book tickets 30 days out, today just happens to be the start of May. So check back 30 days before the date you want in June.

Depending on how your trip is planned, you might want to visit Newgrange with this Dublin-based tour, which takes most of a day but includes a lot of added information plus the Hill of Tara. They may get to reserve admissions ahead of the 30-day window. EDIT: I'm referring to the Mary Gibbons tour that TexasTravelMom mentioned. It was excellent.

Thanks for the responses. We will have a car so don’t want to book an organized tour.

We just returned from Ireland and we visited the site of Knowth at Bru na Bóinne. I booked it exactly 30 days ahead using the official site: https://brunaboinne.admit-one.eu/
The site says the Knowth and Newgrange tours are 2 hours each but when you arrive at your appointed time, the first 45 minutes is free time at the visitors center/gift shop/cafe, then you have a specific time to be at the shuttle bus stop to get transported to either Knowth or Newgrange.
Our tour guide at Knowth was very engaging and informative and was available for more questions during the free time we had there to wander on our own.
My sister thought the 3-hour combined tour of Knowth & Newgrange would be too much for her, so we booked tickets for just Knowth (which was amazing!) but knowing now that the combined tour isn’t a full 3 hours (because of the built in visitors center time) I would have liked to have seen both.

The tours are very popular and do book up quickly. The booking form on the website only goes up to the end of May at the moment, so keep checking the webite for when they start to add dates for June and then book up.

If you have time it is worth doing both Newgrange and Knowth - they are very different.

Thank you for your informative responses. I will diligently check the site and hopefully be able to secure tickets 30 days before our planned day. Yes, we want to tour both sites- New Grange and Knowth.
