We will be taking this ferry in just over a month with a car to the Westfjords. Anyone know how busy it gets, whether far in advance reservations are needed? Dont want to miss it.

Yes, you absolutely should make reservations, now. It does fill up and you are talking about high season. Book it today.

I booked, thanx for the advice.
It was the first totally non-refundable thing on my entire trip so once I hit pay on that we're "committed"!
