Italy and France in November

Does anyone have any input on the weather the second week of November in Italy and France?

Those are both large countries. There could be quite a difference in the weather north to south. For high-level comparisons in the form of monthly averages, you'll probably find a climate summary chart in the Wikipedia entries for the cities you're considering. You'll find information there on both temperature and precipitation. I much prefer to look at actual, historical, day-by-day weather statistics for recent years, because averages hide extremes, and it's the extremes that can make you uncomfortable. I use the website timeanddate.com for my research, and I usually check the 5 most recent years, because weather varies a lot.

Use the pull-down box at the right, just above the graph, to change the month and year displayed. Use the Search box at the upper right to change the location.

Don't focus solely on the peak (high) temperature for the day. You may not experience that for terribly long.

One thing you can be sure of is that the days will be rather short, no matter where you are and no matter how nice the weather turns out to be.

A quick glance at the timeanddate.com graphs showed that for November 2023 Rome was considerably warmer than Paris.
