My husband and I returned recently from a fall trip to Paris. Through my research I found this hotel (not in RS Paris guidebook) and it was great. It is owned by a family who have another hotel in Paris also near Eiffel Tower/ Rue Cler. We stayed at their one in the Saint-Germain area very near the Sevres-Babylone Metro. Comfortable room, friendly, helpful staff. Look up their website and you will get a sense of their vibe. They helped us with reserving a private car pick up from the airport, gave us restaurant recommendations and made a couple of dinner reservations for us. Lots of cafes nearby as well as the Bon Marche department store and food hall. Highly recommend!

Their other hotel, the Londres Eiffel is a standard for many RS tours, particularly his Best of Paris 7-day tour. I've stayed at Londres Eiffel on my own (not on a tour) and liked the staff very much. Does a dog come and stay in the lobby some days? I loved the lab or retriever (can't remember which) that occasionally spent some time at Londres Eiffel, lol.

Phred, I agree re the hotel across from Luxembourg Gardens. Although I have to say we were shocked when the rate for May literally doubled from 2022 when we stayed there compared to 2023. €700 for the Executive room (about 25 meters so a bit bigger) was just too much for us given the Cdn exchange rate is painful too. I haven’t looked at their rates for awhile as I figure 2024 will be affected for many months because of the Olympics.
