Please provide hotel recommendations near the airport - within walking distance and relatively easy walking distance or a shuttle.
Distance is more important than cost so please advise accordingly.
Just a place to rest and jump back on a plane.

You might want to change the title to "Hotels near Copenhagen airport", that will probably give you more answers. There is a Clarion next to the metro station, you can have a look if that suits your needs.
Although I feel like I have to ask if there is any reason you are looking for an airport hotel? While airport hotels can be a great option, it is usually a rather boring place to stay in.

And, to add to Badger's post above....Copenhagen's airport connects so easily to the city center (and the public transit system is awesome), the city center is surprisingly quick and easy to get to/from and offers so much more than any airport hotel.
If all you really want to do is step off a flight, and just get to the nearest bed absolutely ASAP, sleep, then get back on a flight ASAP, maybe an "airport hotel" is your best choice. But the city center is so easily and quickly accessible, if you want more than just a bed to crash in, you might consider an off-airport location.

Clarion and Comfort are just across the road from the airport, it's a very short walk. Scandic CPH Strandpark has a shuttle with limited hours.
