Fantastic Guides in Krakow and Warsaw

Thanks to input from this forum, I found Marta Chmielowska, my guide in Krakow. My son and I took a wonderful half day private tour with her. Her husband drove us to Auschwitz-Birkenau on another day. ([email protected])

I asked Marta for a recommendation of a tour guide in Warsaw and she referred me to Marta Rzeznik. She gave me an incredible tour of Jewish Warsaw and the Polin Museum. She knows a lot about Jewish history in Warsaw and took me everywhere. She offered to pick me up at the train station which I really appreciated. ([email protected])

They are both easily reachable through email or WhatsApp. I highly recommend both of them.

Thank you! I plan to do an ancestry trip to southern Poland and really need the help of knowledgeable guides to get around!

Hi, Can you give me a ballpark of how much Marta charged for the Krakow tour and Auschwitz-Birkenau tour (knowing that may be different now)? Thank you

Hi,
I paid 450 zloty for Marta's half day tour in Krakow. Her husband drove us RT to Auschwitz for 550 zloty. He did not give us a tour; you have to buy the guided tour directly through Auschwitz-Birkenau which you can do on website. He waited for us. There was another driving service I considered called My Krakow driver. He was a bit cheaper but I opted to go with Marta's husband to keep things simple.
